PIE-EATING CONTEST 

1ST ANNUAL BLUEBERRY BASH

1st Annual Windhill Blueberry Bash Pie-Eating  Contest!  

 

Winner will recieve a windhill blueberry bash t-shirt, a blueberry bash award, a goodie bag and a $25 gift certficate! 

Contest Details

 

  • NO HANDS MAY BE USED. The first person to finish his/her pie(s) will be the winner. Judges will decide if pie is actually finished.

 

  • Winner will be declared after the participant swallows the entire pie. No pie may be left in mouth.

 

  • There will be a five-minute time limit.

 

  • Whoever eats the most pie, by weight, in the allotted time period will be declared the winner.

 

  • In the event of a tie – whichever one of the tied contestants who, in the opinion of the judges, has the best pie eating style, or is the messiest, will be announced as the overall winner.

 

  • Any visible signs of sickness will cause disqualification.

 

  • Waiver MUST be signed by contestant’s prior to contest. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present with signed permission entry form. No applications under the age of 5 are permitted.

WAIVER: I hereby agree, acknowledge and accept the following and am registering for the Blueberry Bash Pie Eating Contest. I acknowledge that eating a pie in one sitting and at a fast rate is potentially a hazardous and uncomfortable activity. I should not enter or participate unless I am medically able. I agree to abide by any decision of the contest officials, maintain a good sport men’s-like attitude and abide by any and all contest rules.  I assume all risks associated with eating in this event including, but not limited to, indigestion, upset stomach, headaches, vomiting, and fatigue. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of Windhill Apartments accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive, and release to Windhill Apartments all claims of liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event and all promotional rights to use my image.  I also understand that the above is also related to any food allergies, that I hold harmless Windhill Apts, from all claims of liability of any kind.
